what are some good “beginner” sewing projects???

i just got a sewing machine…i don’t like using patterns…here’s what i’ve made so far: headbands, purses, stuffed animal, apron, pet toy, coin purse….
any other ideas?

Pillows, curtains, place mats, table runners, potpourri saches(sp) ie, those smell good things you put in your closets and drawers, doll clothes, pet clothes, bean bags, ironing board cover, appliance covers, clothes ppin bag, draw string backpack(can do this with a pillow case)…thats all I got right now.
