I have a Buddhism question?


I make jewelry for myself and sometimes sell it to others on occasion. My question is, I had a request from a co-worker to make her a necklace but she said since she was Buddhist she HAD to have all of her pearls in counts of 4′s. She said it was because of her religion. What does this represent? Why 4′s? And why is this important to the Buddhist religion? Thanks.
