Tibetan silver is an alloy (mixture of two or more element metals) of silver with nickel (or tin)

Cupro-nickel is an alloy of copper and nickel with a “silver” appearance and is used to make “silver” coins

Look up “alloys of nickel” in Wikipedia and you will find a list of 27 nickel containing alloys.
