If i wanted to make a pendant with an Ed Hardy design and sell it, how do i keep from copyright infringment?

I make soldered glass pendant jewelry and one of my clients wants one with an Ed Hardy design in it. How do I do this so that i’m not breaking any copyright laws. will it be ok as long as his name is on it?
and what if i just wanted to make one for myself?

The ONLY way to use one of his designs legally is to get his permission. That’s it. NO other options.
