when making your own jewelry or beading, is pearls for pearls or gems with gems, is there a pattern to follow?

is there a rule or general pattern where same kind of beads must be in one group or can it be mixed…just confused…

The only pattern you have to follow is your imagination. If you’re not sure how it will look, make a smaller version of what you want to make. If you don’t like it you can always take it apart.

It looks very nice if you mix different types of pearls and gems, but within the same color family.
