My best friend’s daughter is graduating high school and I need a gift idea for her.?

I make jewelry, I was thinking of making her a necklace, bracelet and earrings, but I don’t know what kids that age like now. Any suggestions would be appreciated. (stone, school colors, etc.)

I know bohemian jewlery is popular with some kids right now. Hemp, cloisinee (sp?) beads, simi-prescious stones, garnet, tourquoise etc. Also, large, single ‘gemstones’ are popular right now. And kids are still wearing necklaces with multiple strands of irregular shaped stones on them. I’ve also heard that pearls are very popular in the south. Some kids are into the black beaded look of the 1920′s.

It really depends on the girls coloring and tastes also.
