How do you clean a new belly button ring?


i just bought new jewelry for my belly button piercing that I’ve had for almost a year now and I wanna make sure it’s clean/sanitized before I put it in. What’s the best way to do this? Please and thank you.

Put it in boiling water for 5 minutes. Boiling water kills bacteria and its the easiest way. I boiled my belly ring for a few minutes before putting it in my piercing and its as clean as ever.
