Where can I find Art supplies for below Wholesale?

I’m trying to find a wholesale or below wholesale resource for a Large size stretched canvas, some paints, and clay for Sculpting. Can someone direct me to a good resource?

I can’t seem to find anything decently priced. Everywhere I look, the stores want obsurd prices. PLEASE! all a canvas is, is stretched treated cloth, nails/staples and wood. WHY are stores like Michaels trying to charge $80+ for a LARGE canvas? Its crazy.
Can a fellow painter throw me a bone here? Surely you don’t all pay these laughable prices? I’m tempted to just go buy the raw materials and make my own. Seriously….you would think these darn craft/art companies have never heard the term “starving artist” before…

You can get very cheap paint by looking in the discounted paint section of large hardware stores and some lanfils, neighbors. Think out of the box.

I am an artist and have rarely had to buy canvas. Anything is canvas: discarded plywood for instance.
